■Regulations

 

１ Purpose

 

• Exhibitor would use gallery to showcase artwork, (paintings, photographs, illustrations, sculptures, and other mediums) or products, or any other creative announcements.

 

• Gallery would need to see several images by the exhibitor on application, which at times may result in rejecting the application, in order to keep quality of the gallery programs.

 

• Gallery will not take any sales margin.

 

 

２ Period

 

• One term is basically 7 days, starting on a Monday and ending on a Sunday.

 

• Operation Hours:
  Exhibitor may set a comfortable time within 24 hours during the period. 
   

  • Operation hours are usually set at 10:00-18:00 or 12:00-20:00, with a belated opening hour for the first day which has installation, and an earlier closing hour for the last day which has de-installation.

 

• Installation：
  Exhibitor may set a comfortable time within the rental period.
   

  • Exhibitor may make the first day of rental period a closed day, and secure sufficient time for the installation if necessary.

  • Exhibitor may use the elevator upon installation (max 6 people, entrance: 80×210cm).

 

• De-installation：
  Exhibitor may set a comfortable time within 18:00-20:00pm on the last day for the “vacating check.”     
   

  • Gallery staff will check facility condition to ensure it is returned in original condition.

  • Exhibitor should set public hours at 17:00 (or 18:00) on the last day, and begin de-installation as soon as operation hours have finished.

  • Exhibitor needs to return the facility in its original condition. In cases there are damages detected on walls and other facilities, or any missing furniture and tools, exhibitor would need to cover the cost.

 

• Please use nearby coin parking for parking cars.

 

• Exhibitor may freely operate opening/closure parties at the gallery, including giving out free food and drinks to visitors.
   

• In case Exhibitor uses the gallery during a period outside the agreed date/times, Exhibitor is obligated to pay an extra usage fee which would be calculated as decuple of the normal usage fee (x10 times). 

 
 

３ Installation

 

• Please use the picture rail system when applying artwork onto the wall. (Please use the picture rails, wires, and hooks at the gallery. There are 17 sets of hooks and wires.)

 

• Nailing/screwing onto the wall is also available; please indicate your request to gallery staffs beforehand. (Note additional fee would occur.)

 

• Please refrain from using any kinds of tape/glue on wall and floor, besides masking tapes.

 

• Please cover and protect the floor and wall in the case bringing in items that may damage may occur.

 

 

４ Price

 

• Please refer to the price sheet.

 

 

５ Cancellation

 

• Cancellation within 6 months prior to the exhibition date:

  • 50% would be refunded

 

• Cancellation within 3 months prior to the exhibition date:

  • 0% would be refunded

 

６ DM/Flyer

 

• Please prepare flyers for yourselves.

 

• Gallery will submit logo and map data after the application is accepted.

 

• If the gallery receives completed flyers prior to the exhibition, the gallery will help promotion by placing on gallery shelf.

 

• If requested, GALLERY WATER can make the flyer too:

  • GALLERY WATER format design (postcard size/10x15cm)

  • 500 copies, delivery within 10 days

  • 10,800 yen (design fee, printing fee, shipping fee, all included)

 

７ Prohibitions

 

• Different usage of the space from agreed purpose.

 

• Transferring/assigning usage right of the gallery to a third party.

 

• Smoking inside the gallery/office/storage space

  • Smoking inside the facility is prohibited, but smoking out in the balcony area, in the case exhibitor prepares ashtrays, is allowed.

 

• Unruly behaviors, incidents, or music that would harm other tenants, visitors, and neighbors.

 

• Prohibited acts and expressions of violence, obscenity, discrimination, politics, or any other exhibits that are contrary to public order and morality.

 

• Exhibits or merchandise that infringe copyrights, portrait rights, or any other third party rights.

 

• Bringing animals into the facility.

 

• Political activates, religious activities, or any activities that may resemble such acts.

 

• All activities and exhibitions which gallery sees as inappropriate.

 

８ Miscellaneous

 

• In case there are issues not specified in this regulation, gallery will respectfully communicate with exhibitor, and confirm the content and consent via documents and emails, and abide consequently.

 

• In case exhibitor or visitor fails to comply with this agreement, or act in a behavior that would harm gallery staffs, gallery has the right to discontinue exhibitor’s usage of gallery. None of the usage fee would be refunded.
